Verbum Scriptum is the brainchild of four educators in the discipline of English who witnessed an exponential growth in the number of students falling behind in their ability to read, write, and think effectively, attributing this decline to the dilution of English curriculum.
Students experienced difficulty processing information and using language effectively. Since English serves as the doorway to other disciplines, many students experienced inferior thinking and communication skills, regardless of their fields of study and chosen careers. These educators made it their mandate to help remedy the situation. They decided to provide quality curriculum and effective support to enable students to reap the widespread benefits of the successful study of academic English.
